The standard resolution for audio CDs in the digital world is 44.1kHz/16-bit, but you’ll see plenty of other figures doing the rounds when it comes to audio recording equipment. So, what is the most common format for recording and delivering audio, particularly now given that downloadable audio files make use of MPEG compression?
