By all accounts, Ableton Live 5’s 24 built-in audio and MIDI effects are a tremendous boon to an already dynamic music-creation program. On a fundamental level, they sound good enough to be used in most projects, but beyond that, like Live 5 generally, the effects will often take you to uncharted creative territory thanks to their innovative features.
