Most producers will at some point have made use of samples CDs, whether it’s to use the samples as the basis of a track or just cut up the odd loop to fill a gap. Sampled beats and loops are nothing new, but in recent years we have started to see loops provided not just as conventional samples, but also as the associated construction elements that make up the loop.
