When matched against other DAWs, the main strength of Live is its open approach to how it can be used. This is true whether you’re using Live as a DJ or a music-making/performance tool, with the lines between the two becoming increasingly blurred as time goes on. Ableton Live offers probably the easiest control mapping of any current DAW, but it still pays to understand how all the elements interact. We’ll show you how to put the various options to practical and creative use.
