T he concept of remixing has been around for a good few years now, but it only really started to grow in popularity around the time that technology began to feature heavily in the music production process. That it coincided with the explosion of electronic music onto the world stage isn’t surprising, since MIDI and later digital audio formats made sharing and manipulating data far easier than ever before.
