Building a classic analogue synth in Tassman 4 Free
Fancy building your very own synthesizer from scratch? Keith Gemmell shows you how with Tassman 4 Free.
Many people think of synthesizers as keyboard instruments that are programmed using knobs, buttons and sliders. Of course, it wasn’t always like that. Pioneers like Bob Moog built and sold synthesizers made to order that consisted of separate modules that you patched together in seemingly endless configurations. They were packed in a case and the order form even had a map so that you could specify exactly where in the case you wanted them to go. Many musicians couldn’t afford to buy all the modules at once and empty spaces were quite common!
