An often overlooked aspect of setting up a studio, but Rob Holsman explains the importance of cabling to signal quality, and advises how to avoid spaghetti hell.

Whether you’re starting out with a home studio for your own recordings or growing your project studio, the main focus is naturally on what gear you’re going to be using. And while we devote a great deal of time to which new sampler, keyboard or mixer to buy, often much less thought goes into how to connect them all together.
