Teaching music in schools and colleges isn’t an easy task. Mike Hillier takes a seat at the back of the class to see what’s being done to make it easier.
Teaching a class of between 20 and 30 kids isn’t an easy task – whatever the subject matter. Teaching music is made even more difficult since, in a music class, it isn’t unusual to have students who might play any number of different instruments. Arranging lessons around this structure can be a logistical nightmare for a teacher.
