We are now dealing with more and more data in the studio with each year that passes. Whether it’s email or sample libraries, digital video or mp3 collections, we are constantly amassing and storing data, and technology is keeping pace, with hard drives becoming bigger and faster all the time. But with a single sample collection often comprising thousands of files and consuming several gigabytes of hard disk space, how can you keep track of huge quantities of data without it hampering your creative workflow?
