Changing and synchronising the speed, tempo and duration of recorded material is something that doesn’t generally trouble the more traditional recording musician these days. If you’re working with a band or as a singer-songwriter, the chances are that you will record multiple takes of your tracks, choose the best bits and assemble a perfect take. In these scenarios, editing can be as simple as cutting, pasting and moving events.
