Cubase 4 Workshop Track Presets
The days of building recording setups from scratch for each new project are gone thanks to the introduction of Track Presets in Cubase 4. Hollin Jones explains.

The increasing complexity of modern music systems means that we’re all dealing with a lot more data than we used to. This ranges from individual VSTi patches to MIDI files and multiple arrangements. But one side effect of the possibilities this new technology offers is that the spontaneity goes out of composing – you can spend so long setting up tracks and experimenting with plug-ins that the spark of inspiration you had is long gone by the time you’re ready to record.
