As Cubase has evolved from a simple MIDI sequencer into the powerful music-production package it is today, it’s gained an awful lot of features. It’s also able to handle many more types of information than ever before: as well as MIDI, it deals with audio, video, plug-in effects, virtual instruments and now even external effects and instruments piped directly into the VST mixer.
