Cubase SX/SL3 Workshop Play Order Track
Trying out different arrangements of a song in Cubase used to be seriously time-consuming – but that’s not the case in SX/SL3. Hollin Jones explores the Play Order track.

By its very nature, sequencing is a linear process. Every piece of music – however mad or experimental – has a start point, a duration and an end point. Even questionable arty works that explore abstract themes such as ‘three days of silence’ must by definition end after three days, even if not a single note is actually played.
