Exporting audio mixdowns in Cubase SX/SL
When you’ve finished recording, editing and mixing, you’ll need to get your music onto an alternative medium for playing and duplication. Hollin Jones shows you how.
It used to be the case that the standard way of transferring a final mix was on DAT (Digital Audio Tape). Many studios still use DAT as their preferred mastering medium, but increasingly, and especially for the home musician, exporting directly to an audio file and then burning to CD is a reliable and efficient way of achieving the same thing.
