Having been mired in work related to their debut artist album for much of the past year, the already-discerning production duo of Josh Gabriel and Dave Dresden had refused to accept any remix work so as not to get sidetracked: “We decided we wanted to focus on working on our album,” says Josh Gabriel, “plus we’re very selective on remixes because they’re basically work for hire and you don’t get publishing on them.”
