Gaining a well-rounded education is the ideal head-start for anyone looking to further themselves and their employment prospects, so, if you’re passionate about music and production, it makes sense to look to one of the range of music technology courses currently available. Whether you’re simply interested in improving your abilities with studio applications such as Ableton Live or Pro Tools or you’re considering a full-time degree in sound engineering, you’ll find plenty of courses that will meet your particular needs and timeframe. But how do you go about distinguishing between these different options? Are some courses more appropriate than others for a career in the music industry? Can an intensive diploma course rival a three-year degree? And, ultimately, how much will it all cost?
