Guitar Rig 4 Workshop - Using Guitar Rig on synthesizer sounds
Although designed as an amp and effects simulator for guitarists, Guitar Rig 4 can be useful to keyboard players as well. Mike Hillier shows you why...

Guitar Rig has always been the sound designer’s amplifier simulator of choice, providing guitarists with the same kind of flexibility that synth players are used to. You can create custom patches that morph slowly between different sounds and use the modulation modules to control parameters in real time – leaving you to concentrate on your guitar playing – just like LFOs and envelopes are used on synthesizers to modulate the sound in real time. Ironically, this has made Guitar Rig almost as popular among synth players as it is among guitarists. In this Workshop, we’re going to look at using it to process synthesizer parts.
