One cold November afternoon we arrived late and flustered – having had to walk unexpectedly across west London thanks to yet another Tube strike – into the warm welcome of the commercial Nevo Sound Studio. But calmed by the serene, elegant lighting and our inexplicable good will towards the somehow share-holding yet still publicly funded public transport franchisees, we’re feeling mellowed within a matter of minutes. Warming the cockles more are the instruments that line the entirety of the entrance room: an impressive collection of guitars and other more exotic instruments, some of which we admit to being hard-pushed to identify…
