Go to http://creativecommons.org, click on the Get Creative Video link and you’ll witness an interesting scenario: two cartoon characters, Jack and Meg White – together known as the White Stripes – record an album. Jack plays guitar. Meg plays drums. However, they don’t have a bass player. Enter Steve McDonald, bass player with veteran band Red Cross. Steve’s impressed by the White Stripes’ album and re-records it, overdubbing the bass parts himself.
