As great as Logic Pro 7 was as an audio-production package, its editing features felt somewhat clumsy and inefficient, especially when it came to dealing with multiple takes. While basic tasks such as region resizing, crossfades and so on were adequately handled, the editing process got decidedly more complicated if you had a number of passes – or takes – of the same part. Usually, this entailed creating multiple tracks, each assigned to the same audio output. Compared to Pro Tools’ elegant Playlist, audio editing in Logic required a fair degree of experience and patience.
