Some of the most powerful tools in your sonic arsenal are also some of the easiest to overlook. This is particularly true of Logic’s Channel EQ plug-in, which rarely gets more than a few seconds’ attention as you go about piecing a mix together. Admittedly, the limited amount of time you spend with the plug-in can largely be explained by its ease of use, but beneath its rather functional exterior lies a range of useful timbral adjustment tools.
