Logic Pro 9 Workshop - Flex Time
The introduction of Flex Time technology in Logic Pro 9 has revolutionised audio editing in a startling and profound way. Mark Cousins limbers up.

One of the most exciting aspects of Logic Pro 9 is the introduction of Flex Time. Although Logic Pro has had some ‘tempo elasticity’ capabilities for a while now, Flex Time offers almost unprecedented control over the timing of your audio. More than just a means of automatically locking a drum loop to your project’s tempo, Flex Time provides complete control over the timing of your audio, thanks to its ability to quantize the feel of a performance, and move, stretch or shrink notes within an audio region. Indeed, once you’ve experienced the wonders of Flex Time, you’ll never be able look at audio within a Logic project in the same way again.
