Logic Pro 9 Workshop - Using the Arpeggiator
Logic’s Arpeggiator is one of the standout features in the Environment and an ideal pairing with the ES2 synthesizer. Mark Cousins takes a new direction.

Hidden deep within Logic’s Environment window, you could be forgiven for overlooking Logic’s powerful arpeggiator feature. However, once combined with a cutting-edge synthesizer such as the ES2, Logic’s Arpeggiator can produce a range of exciting, animated synth sounds, from deep, throbbing bass lines through to spiralling leads lines. Of course, if you’re a fan of trance music, a powerful arpeggiator is an essential part of your sonic arsenal, but you’ll also find that some well-placed arpeggiation can add a touch of class and interest to a range of musical styles.
