Mastering Production
You may have read about all kinds of recording and production tricks, but how do they all fit together? Hollin Jones explains track building from start to finish.

Alot of attention is paid in MTM to advanced production techniques – things like stem mixing, mastering and drum recording, among others. For many people, these are (hopefully!) useful guides to what can be mysterious or daunting processes, throwing light on things they may not be familiar with. For others, though, the idea of even getting to the mixing or mastering stage may be a bit of a stretch. With so much technology and so many different techniques to contend with, where is the newcomer supposed to begin?
