Mixing With Logic Pro 8
These days, many engineers mix ‘In the box’ – that is, without an external mixing console or external effects. In the first of a three-part series, we look at how it’s done in Logic.

Logic’s mixer gives you a visual representation of the various tracks that you’ve laid down on the Arrange page (Figure 1). Access it by opening a separate track mixer window from the Window menu or the Arrange page tab. Various track types in the Mixer can be displayed or hidden in the mixer as required.
