Pro Tools provides a huge selection of basic tools for working with files – last time we looked at the DigiBase Browser, which provides a means of working with files within Pro Tools just as if you were using your OS’ built-in file browser. The DigiBase Browser has some powerful tools dedicated to searching media files that can be used to find and audition audio, MIDI and video files before importing them into your project.
