Pro Tools 8 Workshop - Keeping control
If you need to transfer your Pro Tools sessions to another DAW, good working practices will help you do it seamlessly. Mike Hillier keeps order.

One of the benefi ts of using Pro Tools professionally is that you can move your projects between studios without too much hassle. Almost every professional studio has a version of Pro Tools, which means that you can record into a Pro Tools|HD rig at a big tracking facility then take the project home to edit on your own Pro Tools LE system or hand it to a friend to look at on his M-Powered system before once again returning to a mix room for mixing through an HD system, knowing at every stage that you don’t have to worry about compatibility
