Pro Tools LE and M-Powered projects can experience problems caused by latency, but, as Mike Hillier explains, there are ways around the various difficulties...

One of the most common problems mentioned in debates over the relative merits of the various DAWs is the lack of automatic delay compensation in Pro Tools LE and M-Powered. All of the other major DAWs have built-in plug-in latency compensation – some even include automatic latency compensation for outboard hardware. The ‘lighter’ versions of Pro Tools don’t.
