Reason is used the world over, in settings from bedrooms and clubs right up to professional studios. In fact, it’s amazing just how many people have a copy on their computer, but there are several reasons for this. The principal ones are that it looks friendly, is easy to pick up and is very stable. It also comes with some great instruments and soundbanks. The global community that has grown up around the software is very active, and Propellerhead encourages it by supplying tools like the ReFill Packer, which enables people to organise and share their own sounds and patches in Reason’s proprietary format.
