Reason 3.0 Workshop

Incorporating hardware effects into your Reason projects is actually much easier than you might think. Hollin Jones takes it outside...

One of the things that attracts people to Reason is the fact that it is entirely selfcontained – at least, it is if you want it to be. With just a laptop and a USB MIDI keyboard you can use all of its synths, effects and tricks such as automation and Remote. It doesn’t cater for plug-ins or audio recording, but many users regard this as a strength, keeping the program solid and focused.
