How many people, upon getting and installing Reason, excitedly and almost immediately produce a drum‘n’bass track? Or a techno track? Does this sound familiar? Even if you aren’t particularly appreciative of those styles of music, it’s almost irresistible to bang out a huge, pounding club tune. Why? Probably just because you can – and because Reason makes it incredibly easy to bundle together REX loops and squelchy basses to create a track that wouldn’t seem out of place on Ibiza Club Anthems 12, or something similar.
