Reason 3.0 Workshop Combinator Tricks
There’s far more to this unassuming new module than initially meets the eye... Hollin Jones gets cracking with the Combinator.
Propellerhead’s philosophy underpinning thedevelopment of Reason 3.0 was always evolution, not revolution. All the good parts from version 2.5 that worked well were left basically intact on its reincarnation. Rather than bundling lots of new synths or effects, the company concentrated on making better use of the tools already built-in and familiar to the program’s existing users. These improvements included the excellent new browser, the MClass effects and, of course, the Combinator.
