Reason 4 Workshop - Building custom instruments
Plug-in instruments are all well and good, but wouldn’t it be great to be able to create your own? Luckily, in Reason you can... Hollin Jones explains.

Manufacturers put lots of time into designing instruments and patches
that are usable right out of the box. Much of the time these are great
– they’re certainly very useful when you’re caught up ‘in the moment’
while composing or roughing out ideas and often a few tweaks of a synth
or a loop can change a sound sufficiently to suit your needs even if
the original isn’t quite what you were after.
