Reason 4 Workshop - Using ReGroove
Rigid, mechanical-sounding MIDI parts are a thing of the past thanks to Reason’s ReGroove mixer. Hollin Jones gets his groove on.

Playing and recording beats, bass lines, melodies and other parts in Reason, as in most other software, is usually taken care of by playing in notes from a MIDI device of some kind usually a keyboard. And although there are guitar-to-MIDI converters and all kinds of pad controllers available, the keyboard is still king for most people when it comes to playing and recording in Reason.
