Loops are the bedrock of many compositions, so how about making some of your own – whether for sale or just for your library? Hollin Jones explains how.

Anyone who has worked with Reason – or indeed any sampler or other DAW – will be familiar with loops. From the bundled loops that come with the software to those in commercial samples collections and the ones that come supplied free with magazines on cover DVDs, loops are everywhere.
