The popularity of Reason is due in no small part to the fact that when compared to many other sequencers, it is easy to learn and use. After only a couple of hours spent playing with the program you will probably have created your first tune. There are some useful methods and tips for recording in Reason that can make your life easier, from inputting and quantizing MIDI notes in the sequencer to using your own recorded audio samples in Reason projects. These techniques all come under the broad heading of getting data into Reason and organising it.
