One of the best features of modern music software is the flexibility it offers when working with samples and sound sources. Reason’s Dr.Rex loop player, a mainstay of the program since its inception, is perhaps less prominent as a creative tool than some of the other modules. Dig a bit deeper, however, and you’ll discover a powerful instrument that gives you unparalleled control over the REX loops supplied with Reason (or from any other third-party source).
