The previous two instalments of this short series have looked at various different issues concerning setting up a studio, including what kind of computer you might want to choose, which digital audio workstation software might be best for you and the basic kit that you will need for recording audio and MIDI. We also discussed monitoring through different kinds of loudspeakers and headphones and what kind of microphones offer a good balance of value and versatility for those starting out.
