Setting up Project5
In our first Project5 tutorial Ben Gerrold explains how to run through the initial configuration procedure and get yourself set up to start producing music.
Project5, Cakewalk’s newest entry into the software studio field, has many exciting features that set it apart from its competitors. Project5 offers an intuitive sequencer specifically designed for looping and other pattern-based sequencing duties, in addition to a world-class analogue synthesizer. It enables more customisable views and workspace than many of its competitors. Project5 has features specifically aimed at live performance. And, perhaps most profoundly, Project5 accepts DX and VST2 effects and instruments.
