Sonar 4 Workshop External Audio Encoders
If your favourite audio encoder runs from a command-line interface, Sonar 4 can be configured to work alongside it. Brian Smithers shows you how.
Sonar’s audio-export features took a leap forward with version 4. Aside from the Producer Edition’s big addition – surround sound export – useful features such as the ability to save and export presets have been built-in. Instead of having to specify exactly what and how you want to export every time, you can call up presets from a dropdown list: one for CD-bound tracks, one for 5.1 output and another for web audio.
