Sonar 4 Workshop SurroundBridge Linker
Brian Smithers demonstrates how you can use your favourite mono and stereo plug-ins in 5.1
One of the most exciting new features in Sonar 4 Producer Edition is
its support for surround sound. Sonar now supports more than 30
different surround configurations – up to 8.1, in fact. Although two
powerful surround effects plug-ins – the Lexicon Pantheon Surround
reverb and Sonitus: Surround Compressor – are included, most of us also
have favourite mono and stereo plug-ins that we’ll continue to use. To
facilitate the use of non-surround processors in the surround
environment, Sonar includes the new SurroundBridge plug-in.
