Sonar 5 Workshop Perfect Space
Sonar 5 Producer Edition includes a new convolution reverb called Perfect Space. Brian Smithers gives you the perfect tour.

Cakewalk has added to Sonar’s arsenal of quality reverbs with each iteration, the oldest of them being the DSP-FX Studioverb – still a worthy bit of kit despite its age. Its Lexicon Pantheon is a Lexicon reverb after all, and even though Studio Edition includes only Pantheon LE, that’s nothing to sniff at. What’s more, the Sonitus:fx effects now include a reverb, which offers extensive control over early reflections, damping and more. The one omission in previous Sonar incarnations, though, has been the thing that’s generated more buzz than anything in the reverb world in recent memory: a convolution reverb.
