Sonar has always been chock-full of beat-manipulation tools, supporting ACID files, audio and MIDI groove clips and sporting the Cyclone DXi – and those are just for starters. Now, though, the new RXP DXi adds support for REX files – the files created by Propellerhead’s ReCycle. REX files are simply audio files with embedded beat-slicing information that enables them to be temposhifted easily.
