Sonar 6 Workshop MIDI Production
Sonar 6 boasts more powerful MIDI functionality than any previous incarnation. Brian Smithers shows you how to maximise its talents.

This Workshop explores some of the new features in Sonar 6 that make MIDI sequencing easier than ever. To get under way, copy the tutorial project from the coverdisc to your audio drive and open it. Open the Synth Rack and fire up Session Drummer 2. In the Insert Soft Synth Options dialog, check the box marked All Synth Audio Outputs: Stereo. Sonar will create nine stereo audio tracks and one MIDI track, all within a single track folder.
