SynthEdit 1.1 - Building VST's
Tweaking synth presets is one way of finding a unique sound, but building your own plug-ins is another. Indie developer Daz Disley (whiteLABEL) shows you how.

Many of the thousands of free VST or VSTi plug-ins for PC available for download will have been made with SynthEdit – the wonderful modular synthesis and rapid application development tool created by independent Kiwi developer Jeff McClintock. With a global community of users and developers, this great-value PC shareware application is a must-have for anyone interested in the nuts and bolts of audio. Whether it’s a simple delay, an esoteric vocoder, a quality reverb or exotic polyphonic synth, any circuit you dream up can – with a little time and effort – be implemented in SynthEdit (SE) and exported as a VST plug-in for use in your favourite DAW or live rig.
