Using Reason's DrRex loop player
Reason’s DrRex loop player offers the opportunity to manipulate audio in creative and exciting ways. Adi Winman shows you how.
The ability to ‘slice and dice’ your audio files and loops can be essential if your track or mix needs a creative injection. You can use the plethora of editing and effects parameters included on the front and back panel of the DrRex player to produce some interesting and original sounds. The sounds can be used to complement existing loops created by other devices, such as the ReDrum drum sequencer or the NN-XT sampler. Or they can be used on their own to create the beginnings of an idea or song.
