Using the Sample Editor in Cubase SX/SL
Hollin Jones looks at how you can use Cubase SX/SL to manipulate and edit your audio files at sample level.
Cubase, like other sequencers, incorporates comprehensive sample editing tools. In fact, it’s almost the same as having a wave editor such as Bias Peak, Cool Edit (now Adobe Audition) or Sound Forge built-in to Cubase. For as long as Cubase has been able to record and sequence audio, it has had the tools to work with it. And in the SX/SL series, additional features such as the Offline Process History have been incorporated, making sample editing more flexible than ever.
