Without doubt, oe of the most crucial elements of any musical performance is timing. Regardless of the musical style or instrument you’re playing, nailing the perfect take is a highly desirable ability in music production. Part of the reason why MIDI has been such a success is that it is editable to an almost infinite degree. It doesn’t share the physical constraints that digital audio has traditionally endured.
