Working with vocal recordings is one of those tasks that can’t just be ‘winged’; you need to know what you’re doing because, for many projects, the vocal will be the most important part of the mix. Happily, Pro Tools does offer the recording engineer/musician the tools with which to get the best from a vocalist’s performance.
