It seems like we’ve been hearing about mLAN for the best part of a decade now – and that’s actually not far wide of the mark. mLAN has taken around eight years to move from concept to reality and wasn’t helped by the first wave of products lacking much of the promised flexibility. But now the faster, second-generation mLAN B is here and it’s included on Yamaha’s new digital console – the 01X.
